Room Project.

On Monday I got my uncle to paint my room for me as I’m now older and have gotten sick of the obnoxious blue. He took foreverrrr to paint it. He is super lazy and kept making excuses as to why he would just come back the next day, I hated my room being so messy and not being able to sleep in it. We bought two gallons of paint and it ran out because the blue was so bright we had to put two coats plus paint my bathroom and closet. My dad went to get the quart since it was only edging that my uncle had left to do. I was happy when I came home on Thursday, from school because I was told it was finished. I rushed in my room to see as I got there and I realized that this was a completely different tone from the rest of the room! I was so mad. So was my dad! He started cussin’ and boxed my door. My uncle never noticed because he thought it would get lighter as I dried! It didn’t… anyways my dad went and got the guys to mix another one, because apparently some paints cannot be mixed by the quart or it will come out different from the gallon. It got painted correctly and I was happy. I felt like while I was at it I should do some other things to neaten up my room. I took and spray painted my ugly cork board that I keep pictures on and a few other small items around my room. Smart little me took and spray painted on top of a big glass table that my mom has outside. My brain clearly was not clicking and now this glass is dark brown and gold! It won’t come offfff.. let’s just say my mom could be happier….. lol.

Turtle Farm Trip

This Sunday I decided to go to the Turtle Farm with my best friend Vicky and her daughter, Timiyah. I carried Timiyah around to the turtle tanks and let her touch the shells, even took her by the alligator. She was so fascinated she started tapping the glass. She chased around every iguana she saw too! As I was carrying her I noticed that my belly button ring had fallen out! I was so vex. I called my mom to bring me another ring because I didn’t want it to close up as I jussstt re-pierced it. My mom brought the ring and I was happy again, lol! I went up the stairs to go on the water slide and the life guard told me the baby  had to be at least two to be on the slide (she’s just over 1) and I asked him to let us go at least once so he allowed us. Her mommy stayed in the water at the bottom as we came down the slide.I held her out of the water as I went under when we reached into the pool. I let go of her for one second to wipe my  my hair out of my face and boop her head went under like a duck searching for fish! I thought she would have stayed up because she had a life vest on.I felt so baddd.I got teased for the rest of the day for “trying to drown the baby”. After this dilemma I took her to see the sharks, she kept jumping with joy. I noticed Vicky only had the swimsuit on her and I told her to put a pamper on but she didn’t listen and about 20 minutes later she pooped in her swimsuit, I killed myself laughing because she was wobbling around with this poop in her suit. I teased Vicky so much as she found a hose and was hosing the poop out of the swimsuit!

Yet another trip out with the musketeers

He found the bigger one and I found the other.
This week, I went out on the boat with my dad and brother again. My dad and I were originally just going to launch my brother because he kept saying he wanted to go by himself. After we launched him, he pulled up to the dock and shouted to my dad and told him to park the truck because he wanted us to come. Lil punk was afraid to go out to dive conchs without someone running the boat!
It was shark water that’s why, lol. We went out looking for lobsters and conchs. My dad ran the boat and my brother and I swam, searching.
First we swam along this bluff looking rock, it reminded me so much of Cayman Brac.
We were looking for lobsters, hidden in and around the rocks but all we found was a big, bright starfish. My dad just recently started using his iPhone so he is obsessed with taking pictures and videos. There is so many that he took from that day! Anyways, after this unsuccessful search we then went out in the deep blue and we searched and searched we found nothing except for two sand dollars. We went even further out afterwards and boom! We hit the jackpot. Hundreds upon hundreds of conchs on the ocean floor. At this point I was so tired so I let my brother dive up the conchs. I was hoping for another conch pearl. We weren’t lucky enough this time around but I’m to find another!

He was searching for lobsters while I was diving the starfish.
Checking the weather before hand.
